* Flat-rate schedule for webpage development
Flat rates are based upon the client's ability to provide all necessary graphics and/or text-based content. If Truckers Voice LLC is required to develop content and/or graphics for client website(s), time for such development will be charged at the published hourly rate. It is in the client's best interest to provide all written or graphical representations that are available to Truckers Voice prior to website development.
** Hourly rates for other services
Hourly rates will apply to all services rendered by Truckers Voice on behalf of the client. These charges include, but are not limited to: Research for the purpose of generating written content for client website(s), Content writing, Graphics creation, or other activities necessary to the creation of client website(s).
Activities excluded from hourly charges
The following activites are not subject to hourly rates:
- Email Communications
- Phone Consultations
- Activities specified in rate schedule
- Administrative activities related to client account
*** Set-up Fee
The set-up fee is a one-time charge upon establishing a client account. Regardless of where the client chooses to host their domain, the set-up fee will apply. This fee covers the time necessary to establish proper client records, website settings, and acquiring a copy of any existing website. This fee also covers the time necessary to gather the information needed to build the client's website. As stated previously, this is a one-time fee and activities covered under this section will never incur any hourly charges.
**** Hosting Services
Hosting services are available to all Truckers Voice clients. Truckers Voice does not own any hosting servers and offers housing of your website(s) through a 3rd party provider. Truckers Voice does not require that clients host their website through our preferred provider. All charges except the administrative fee are at-cost and the client may opt to avoid the application of administrative fees by establishing their own hosting service account.
Truckers Voice will provide web design service to all clients without prejudice regardless of the hosting service used. We offer the opportunity to host through an established vendor of which Truckers Voice is familiar and which has several tools available to the client to improve website functionality. The administrative fee only applies if the client desires Truckers Voice to manage and maintain domain hosting and renewals; subject to provider Terms of Service.
If the client chooses to set up their own hosting account with another hosting service, Truckers Voice will not be responsible for website downtime related to expired domain registry or hosting service.
Website Evaluation
Truckers Voice will evaluate your website design in terms of aesthetic appeal and functionality free.
The code evaluation service provided will identify specific areas of your website that have improper coding or which should be cleaned up for readability. It has been our experience that many designers make their code unreadable to discourage the transfer of websites, which you own, to other designers.
This service will check your website code for incomplete or missing HTML tags, improper syntax, and provide you a report of any errors found.
